SOLIDAR calls for a Just Transition towards Social Justice globally.

Today, 20th February, SOLIDAR celebrates, together with its members, the World Day of Social Justice and organises for the respect of human rights, climate action, equity, social justice and peace. 

Ensuring that the green transition towards climate neutrality is Just and Fair and includes all countries across the world, especially in the Global South, is key.

Just Transition is at the core of SOLIDAR work and is a priority for our joint advocacy with members and partners from all over the world. This is why SOLIDAR calls for a great mobilization of its members and partners, in Africa, Europe, Latin America and South Asia for this year’s Social Justice Day, to make our voice heard in calling for a Green Transition that it is Just, at all levels, and all over the world.

Together with our member, we launch today, on Social Justice Day, a joint statement, calling for a Just Transition towards Social Justice globally.
