SOLIDAR Foundation is pleased to invite you to Democracy in Action: A Conference on Global Citizenship Education, along with national and European experts and policymakers, to discuss Global Citizenship Education as a catalyst of democratic participation.
The Conference follows up on SOLIDAR’s Policy Roundtable on Achieving Democratic Participation through GCE which took place in May, and concludes SOLIDAR Foundation’s advocacy cycle on GCE in 2024. At the event, the findings of SOLIDAR Foundation’s latest Policy Paper on Global Citizenship Education and Democratic Participation in Europe will be presented elaborating on how citizenship education can increase trust in democracy and boost political participation.
