Where, when and how

The training programme lasts 4 days, and it takes place in Brussels, Belgium on 14-17 October 2024. We are pleased to invite all the participants to the final conference of the AKA project which will take place at the EESC on 16 October as part of the EUROGAP programme. 

It consists of a mix of interactive and participant generated content, lectures, dialogue with stakeholders and political actors, informal meetings and playful content. The programme is developed by SOLIDAR Foundation, and it is delivered by experts from SOLIDAR and its partners. It is designed to serve as a learning space for the participants.

Participants are expected to attend one preparatory meeting to get to know each other and share expectations (online), the full 4-day training programme (on site) and one follow-up meeting (online). Flipcharts, markers, pens, post-it notes are provided for relevant sessions.

Requirements

Participants should be identified as emerging leaders, activists, or employees engaged in and nominated by:

• our member organisations
• SOLIDAR partners
• Partner organisations of SOLIDAR members

and able to share their learning outcomes with their organisation to multiply its impact. To be able to benefit from the programme, participants are required to be fluent enough in English.

If your organisation is interested in participating but you cannot find English speakers, please get in touch with us as we may be able to provide a tailor-made programme for your delegation, in your language, on different dates.

Participation is subject to the payment of a participation fee, which finances the preparation and implementation of the programme, and covers all costs except travel. Member organisations benefit from a discounted participation fee.

The participation fee for participants coming from a member organisation is 400 EUR per participant.

The participation fee for participants coming from external organisations (not member of SOLIDAR) is 500 EUR per participant.
